Erin Kruger grew up in Northern California where she studied fine art and photography. Adoration for these art forms graduated into her grand passion—Filmmaking. At age nineteen Erin completed her first short film,  How to Find Elvis in Your Hometown, later moving to San Francisco to study film at The Academy of Art University.

Soon after, Erin began making films and music videos, as well as optioning her first feature-length script in 2008. She has won awards for both writing and directing, including Best Director in the 2006 Music Video Program at the Sacramento Film & Music Festival.

In 2009 Erin said goodbye to Northern California to pursue her film career on the East Coast. She has already covered a lot of territory with film productions in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Erin has recently completed a fellowship with The Moving Picture Institute , during which she completed Roles , her second feature-length script. Under her fellowship with MPI Erin also shot her fourth short film, an excerpt from her Roles script. The project has garnered industry interest and with the help of The Moving Picture Institute, Erin will begin fundraising for the  Roles feature film in early 2012.
